    WHY WOULD A NEWLY POURED CONCRETE GARAGE FLOOR HAVE SURFACE CRACKS FORMING DIFFERENT SIZE SHAPES THAT ARE BEGAINING TO FLAKE OFF,LEAVING FLOOR PITTED?

    poorly mixed concrete without enough lime or perhaps not poured thick enough maybe not cured properly
    Did you put reinforcing under it, agree with too thin a cover. Floor for vechile needs 4" 100mm thick. Too wet when poured. Wrong mix of cement sand and gravel.
    It could have been poured in high humidity as well.
    did you take the power trowel over it to long?
