      Sounds like it's louder than it should be, try to use your vacuum cleaner to clean the vents and make sure nothing is blocking them.

        Fans are (or should be) thermally controlled. This control factor may not be working. Or, perhaps there is something blocking the flow of air, and therefore it is running all the time trying to keep your computer cool.
