      If you hve the make and modle you can go the the blue book value calutaor on line.. I have a 9mm ruger it is worth about 280

        Take it to your local or nearest gun dealer. Make sure you bring it in with the safety on and no bullets in it. Let them know you're bringing the gun in before you bring it in.
