I am attempting to verify that my great-grandmother, Cordelia Ellen Burns Sharp was a full blood Cherokee
Cordelia, was born on 17 Feb 1868, in Stumptown, West Virginia. Parents were Gravvill Burns, and mother Lucinda Stumpp. Cordelia married Robert Sharp on 13 Sep, 1888 in Gilmer Co. W.VA.
Together they had 11 Children, of which 10 Survived. She died in 1945 in Clarksburg, WV.USA.
Can anyone certify her lineage as a member of the Cherokee nation? I am deeply concerned with accurately tracing the Sharp Family Tree. Any help will be most apprweciated, and I will present any and all information I have discovered.
Respectfully:
