Sea salt is not refined and is healthier to use than table salt which is refined.
I've seen a report on the news that says the only difference is where the salt comes from.
Sea salt = NaCl = table salt
Mostly it is only the price. "Sea Salt" may have bigger granules, or refined in a different way, but other wise salt is salt (unless you add some other flavoring to it). All salt comes from the sea, even if it was mined under ground. Those deposits were left by the sea millions of years ago. So buy what you want, but it is all the same stuff.
