      early morning or even at night,never in the heat of the sun .. it will burn it.

        Never water your lawn when the sun is shining full blast on it. The droplets of water act just like a mirror and magnify the sun's rays on the grass - causing burns.

        Always water early in the morning or in the evening after the suns starts to go down.
