    how do i put password protection on my g mail?

    the icon is on my desktop, and if I inadvertantly left my computer on my own page, anyone could just open my mail. I have hidden the mail icon in a folder, but it's a nuisance. Thanks

      Just remove the saved password in your browser and this will not happen.

      There is no way to password protect a link on your desktop.
