We don't start wars, we finish them. The world can not see the "Right" of this country because they are not us. We are perceived as evil when we go after an attacker and kill them. We have not started a war, we have finished them and freed the people of that land from tyranny, We (USA) are also the foster parent of almost every country in the world with our helping hand and care packages, financial aid and education, as well as construction. Japan started it we ended And yes we put a hell of a lot of money in Japan after WW2, its same with every other nation that we have had to deal with. You name one country that we have prospered from. Other than the Civil War, not sure what other war the U.S. started. In the Civil War, both sides thought God was on their side. Sometimes a person or group's own beliefs or principals lead them to believe God should be on their side.

The Russians started the war in Afganistan. The U.S. supplied arms to the Afganistani's to defend themselves, which they did. The Islamic terrorists took over leadership in Afganistan, terrorizing the citizens, and since the Islamic terrorists became Public Enemy # 1, the U.S. went in to defend the Afganistani's, and root out the terrorists. Not sure if you can call that an invasion, since the U.S. was welcomed there, and still are.

i like to think it used to be cause he was .. i not so sure god takes side in modern war fare we all cry god in our time of need as well as doubt.god never started any wars man did, if we cry help in the heat of battle to satan well get nothing,maybe a lie or a false victory. good has the right to defend itself against evil.. does it not, so perhaps we should ask god are we right in this proclamation of war whoever the enemy may be.. if not leave the name of god out of it !

There were several reasons for Japan's attack. Japan was aggressively pursuing control of Indonesia which at that time was a Dutch colony and very oil-rich. Whether the U.S. oil embargo on Japan in 1941 prompted this is debatable but Japan clearly wanted to disable a certain U.S. response that would follow a Japanese advancement in most European colonies in the Pacific.

Japan should not have attacked us. We didn't invade them. We just dropped bombs like they did when they attacked Pearl Harbor. They should have have thought about their own people when they decided to wake the sleeping giant. We were not in the war when they attacked. We joined the war and went after Hitler first and then went back to take care of Japan. Good on us :)
