Depends on the type of camera. The camera will have software to load on the computer. It will also have a cable to plug from the camera to the computer. After you load the software on the computer, sometimes when you plug the cable into the computer, it will automatically start the software on the computer. Otherwise, start the software and follow the instructions, either from the camera, or from the computer.
