I apply my mascara on both my top and bottom lashes and I apply it from bottom up and then top down on my upper lashes because it makes them look very long and full.  I was hosting a Mary Kay party several years ago and I was the talk of the table because all the women only apply it underneath their top lashes.  Do any of you women here on aka apply you mascara the way I do mine?

If I were a woman, and needed to use makeup, I would get a paper plate, squirt stuff out in the right areas, and dab of this here, some of that there.  Then in the morning, out of shower, and drop my face into the plate, presto, makeup is done!  No fuss, not late for anything, etc...

I suggest you both try putting mascara on and see if you can do it with your mouth closed. I think this is something you have to more experience in order understand why : )

LOL I trained myself to keep my mouth shut when i am applying mascara... If only I could keep my mouth shut the rest of the time that would be great.

Well my purely male suggestion probably for the same reason men cant fart without lifting one leg and/ or giggleing. This is what this forum is about good clean innocent fun, pardon me whilst I lift a leg. Oh! I shouldnt have done that aw! poo.

Applying warpaint art is not an easy task, I see women applying their colors in the morning going to work, they can talk on the cellphone, drive, spank the kids in the back seat, smoke and drink a Starbucks coffee all at the same time, and attempt driving, which obviously is the lowest priority. It's hard to do, I feel sorry for the women.. Give 'em a break!

Good question? Maybe they think it makes their eyes open more when their mouth is open??? I'll throw you a t.u., I cant wait to see the answers on this one.

Maybe it's a reverse reflex action...they can't put on lipstick with their eyes closed either! ha ha :)

It's an unconscious thing.  When I become aware of the Venus fly trap poised and ready to ingest, I close it.
