I snipped mine off, but it's prob not a good idea. Heck that's just what the Dr. does anyway. Just make sure it's not a warty- type thing; b/c it can bleed and get worse, then it comes back adn could turn into cancer. I have a wart my Left side of my face, adn the derm Dr. froze it off 3 X and each time, it quickly came back. Now, he wants me to go to a hosp about 15 miles from here to get it cut out by the roots, b/c he doesn't want to mess with it. I think he's shirking his duties.
But yes, I have cut off many a skin tag, with no bad consequenses
