How do I add my internet explorer tab on my computer. There was an update and I lost it.

Do you mean the short cut? Go to your start button, see the search box, type in Internet Explorer. When you see the link appear in the list box, left click on it and hold. Then drag it to your opening screen where your other icons are and release the left click. You should then see the icon for the short cut.
