WHAT DO I DO MY NEIGHBOR HAS BEEN GONE ALL WEEK END AND STILL GONE THEY LEFT THEIR DOG AT THE SIDE OF THE HOUSE FENCED IN NO FOOD I HAVE BEEN FEEDING HIM ALL WEEKEND HES SO SKINNY

thank you for looking after this poor dog I get so angry at people doing this I would like to leave them with no food and no water ans see hoe they would like it once again thank you

Call the ASPCA or Humane Society.... If they have that little concern for his well being while they are out of town.. I am sure he is not a priority when they are home... Dogs dont get "Skinny" in a couple of days... You can remain annonomous.

Bless your heart for looking out for this poor dog. I honestly don't know why someone would own a pet and not feed it properly. I agree with jenn. Animals don't get that way overnight. I would report them. If people don't want the responsibility, then they shouldn't own the dog!

Take this dog to the local shelter and surrender him for those stupid people. Given them your neighbors name and address and tell them what has been happening. Do It Now!

I don't know if I agree with this, these people apparently do not care enough for this animal to go pick it up, even if they were permitted to recover the animal. Then you have the other problem, if nobody claims it and/or adopts it, they put the poor thing to sleep.. Taking the dog to the shelter is almost like giving it a death sentence if nobody claims it.. But then what else do you do?? I think I would continue feeding it through the fence...

There are plenty of NO KILL shelters around. Our Humane Society does not ever put an animal down. If she continues to feed it through the fence, what happens when the dog gets sick, what happens if the food she is giving it isn't enough as it's organs are already breaking down and it will die, what happens if the weather gets bad and the dog has no shelter and freezes to death.

It is hard for me to understand why people treat animals that way. Dogs are totally depending on us to take care of them,in return they give us uncontional love. That is more than I can say for some people I know. I agree with you6dogs are us. There are No Kill Shelters That will take care of him, the way he deserves to live.

Call the humane society fer sure! Continue to care for the poor beast until they come. Poor pup your a good person for caring for the animal...continue being such. The Humane Society is the best call one could make,in my opinion.

A couple more days of neglect and abuse. Great answer. Not. He needs to be removed now and to hell with getting along civilly with ignorant asses. I can't believe 2 others agreed with this idea. People need to care about animals. We domesticated them. We are responsible for them. Anyone who agrees with continued negligence should not own a pet.

people need to care about people as well.. i agree any and all animals shouldn't be neglicted.. the guys feeding the dog whats two more days.. how do you know whats going on in the dog owners life, maybe his mother died who knows..
