Good bye, folks.
I wont stick around to find out how many of you are offended by my use of the phrase: "your sister, Ginger". That is simple, foolish talk that anyone should be offended. Just disgusting! I don't belong here!
Damn shamed can't be myself, here. This is a nice place.
There was a post a couple of months ago when I first came to this site. I really had no idea what it was about. But, in it, there were names brought up and posts from someone whom i didn't even know and my response to that post was how much we should leave names out of it. i was reminded that it wasn't a bible prophecy post. My reply was I usually respond to posts under the general bible terms (bible, christian, religion etc).
But, you're right, I don't belong here. I was going to sleep on it as I only have about 5 hours to sleep before I drag myself to a job I don't want to be at. But, I saw a certain post, and it reminded me of how much I don't belong among you.
So, I bid you adieu! It has been fun. i enjoyed talking with you. Don't get in each others way, stay open minded. And, above all, don't let no body tell you that you can't be who you say you are!
So breathe in, breathe out.. No worries, you wont see me here.

Adreamer, I am very sorry to see you go, and I do agree that we should all be ourselves, Colleen says she is a lesbian, to me this is great, she is who she wants to be, you offer guidance in your own way, this too is great, i have no problem with that. If other people here would allow others the right to be themselves with out that terrible word 'offended' this place would be even better but i don't see this on the horizon, we do have some bullheads here.
All I would like to see here is camaraderie amongst members, no slander, no sending people to hell, no hate speeches..
So..., I wish you well-- I do believe the door will always be open for you should you desire.

Wer'e all only here to pass the time of day,(Or night you insomniacs!)It's a bit of fun,a bit of a giggle at times & sometimes I even glean a little bit of useful info as well as being able to maybe help someone else out with an answer.BUT IT IS NOT MY LIFE! Get over it & move on to the next question.Don't LEAVE like a bad tempered little kid.Take it on board & use it as constructive critisism.If only we could see ourselves as others do.

I am on this site, because I feel I can answer a question with experperiences throughout my life. Thats what makes me who I am.
Everyone on this site has different life experiences and that makes them who they are.I dont agree with some things, but I think we can do better,by considering other peoples feelings before our own. When we let anger remain in our lives and take its energy and direct it toward another person to hurt them, we move from a nomal healthy feeling, to a destructive one.

Ann, just because you've never been offended, this does not mean others haven't. Though I was more annoyed than offended.

Who's feelings should be considered? The Christians?
Apparently both sides of this issue have feelings over it. I and others (as they've posted or given thumbs up to comments mentioning her over use of "your sister") found her to be over the top in her zeal tho make sure she mentioned her religious nature daily. I felt annoyed for my sister who, according to the Christian religion, is in hell. Dreamer is not my sister in Christianity, as she claims is the reason she uses it, yet she would put that in every comment she addressed to me. Maybe she should have considered my feelings as she knew darn well I'm not a Christian.
Of course other Christians are not going to be offended or annoyed by her deciding she is everyone's Christian sister be they Christian or not. That type of signature belongs on a Christian site. This is so typical of a lot of religious folk. They believe that because they're religious and pray to a God everyday, they can do what they want and no one can say boo to them because THEY'RE Religious.

I am sorry you feel offended by ADreamer2s use of the word " Your Sister" There are many Religions that use the word " Brother or Sister" and really mean no harm. I was born and raised a catholic. I believe in God and his Creation, but I am more spiritual than religious. But I dont believe your sister is in hell, for we all have only one god and he forgives and loves us all. Were here to share experiences, give advise if asked, and listen to different points of view on a variety of subjects. Some here are of a religious mindset, some not. Some are straight, some are not. It seems some are becoming judgmental and hostile towards one another because of these differences. The diversity of the people is what makes this site work. Lets not F**k it up over petty nonsense.

Maybe you should try and understand WHY some had an issue with it. I explained my issue in the other thread. I think I have a valid reason. But that's just my opinion. Maybe you could have opened your mind some and only used your Christian greeting or whatever you call it for those here who are Christian.

My only request (not really a request as I never asked you, more a thought)was that you do not use Your Sister with me because your religion puts my real sister in hell for dying a non Christian and me in hell for being a lesbian and not repenting for it and taking Christ into my heart. For this, I could never be your sister in Christianity.

Sorry it has come to this Adreamer2 but your leaving is your decision to make and I wish you well for the future.
We all need to acknowlege this is not a site to push any particular barrell and if by our terminology we upset, annoy or just plain p... off some one we take steps to change what we did.
When I first joined I used capitals all the time as I found it easier to proof read. I was quickly told in no uncertain fashion by some people that the use of caps was not in good taste.
What did I do? stopped using caps.
In my question re yourself I used caps because I did not realise "caps lock" was on and I appologised for the over sight.
I wish you well and if you decide to stay I will treat you with the same respect as other users, but please oh please no "sister"

Why leave? I know how you feel, I've had the moment myself. Why don't you go away from here for a while and come back? That helped me. We are all here to share love no matter what you believe or how you think. We should just use the common sense when we share our thoughts. There always has to be a rule in a community, otherwise chaos. Come back later when you feel better. You will not be blamed.
