th printer, will have a scan button on the top of the lid. put document on the glass center close lid.
press scan and a preview will come up on your monitor to edit and hit scan again and it will scan and put it into a file in your system you will name
eg. my scans, my fav pics etc.
hope this answers your question. there are so many printers by diff. manufacturing co.'s but they all pretty much work the same
