I own a timeshare in Mexico--the maintenance fees are becoming excessive. I want to get rid of it--sell, barter, donate, or by any method possible. Any suggestions (for reputable companies?

Thata a tough one I own a time share and we use it but the maintanace fees are in excess of around 2 k a year. for whar we get out of it its like 100 bucks a night to use and thats not a bad deal but the initial investment is a lot. All the companys want money up front which I dont trust, Its real estate and they should sell on commision. some time shares have a walk away clause but you loose your investment, Ebay you can sell but you wont get much. good luck, Im interested in any comments you get also.

It has been a year since this posting. How did you come out? I am in a similar situation and would appreciate what you learned, both good and bad. Thanks.
