10 TO 1 SAYS YOU GET AT LEAST,AT LEAST ONE (FEMALE) WHO WILL ANSWER: "BECAUSE MOST OF THEM ARE MALES" SO YOU MIGHT WANT TO RETRACT YOUR QUESTION! "FOR THE DIGNITY OF ALL US MEN"

I'm sorry if i offended you PANDA, although you are more than likely correct! However maybe i asked the wrong question.
He is house-trained etc. but chews anything he can get hold of and rip it to bits, and also jumps over to the neighbors and scares the bejesus out of them, although he would not hurt them he would knock over the children there.

Sorry Panda I won't say that as I have two males and they are the best dogs in the world and the easiest of all my dogs to train.

I would say you are expecting too much from them too quickly perhaps. You do have to have patience when training a dog. Mine learned the sit, come, sit/stay very early on (which is preferable) the rest came as they got older and I expected more from them. As puppies, their attention span is very short and training must be repeated in short spurts several times a day continuously. Repetition is the key. By the time they were six months old mine had all the basic training done.

You may be training them the hard way or the wrong way. Have you read any books, attended puppy school? What are you asking them to do. A little more info would help answer this question.
