The secret to this cake is to place the slices of pineapple on the bottom of the dish and cover them with brown sugar, then pour the cake batter on top and pop it into the oven. After the cake is cooked, cool it off first then turn the cake pan over onto a large plate. When the cake comes out of the pan it will have the brown sugar and sliced pineapple on the top of it. Serve with whipped cream and enjoy.

NO.. you put the Pineapple rings on the bottom of the Irom skillet 1st .... then the cake makeings... then Bake it
