    After cooking a meal, can you put food back in a warm oven after it has been on the table for an hour so people can enjoy more later? Or the rather, would be putting it in the refrigerator and then reheating, if needed for later consumptiom?

    Either case would be better than leaving it out on the sideboard to gather dust, bugs and bacteria. The only thing with keeping it warm is that it will also dry out. The quality of the food would be better if you refrigerated it and re-heated.
