I had a Facebook app on my phone that I logged into when I got the phone (and it stays connected). I hit the list button thing on the Droid and I was able to log out of the app. It warned me the connection between Facebook and contacts would break. When I did that it no longer connected my contacts to Facebook. Then, I added all the contacts I wanted in my contact list (used names that would reference Facebook). Finally, I logged back into the Facebook app. I only used sync between "my" contact list and Facebook. Viola, the Facebook info syncd perfect.
