      You can deactivate and hide the browser by clicking on view, see toolbars and uncheck the Oryte browser.

          It is not a browser - it is a tool bar

          Check the add-ons manager to see if it is listed there, see Uninstalling add-ons for details, in particular the section on uninstalling extensions and themes.

            I looked into it and apparently this is one of those difficult toolbars to remove, it probably hides in programs under another name. Best olex just hides it.
