      It's your choice. You can have the surgery or not. I made the best decision of my life when I opted to have a hysterectomy.

        It depends on what your diagnosis is. Mine was cancer of the uterous, so I HAD to have it done. Did they say you have fibroid tumors or what? They're non cancerous.

            Just so you know, neither fibroid tumors nor a hysterectomy are acceptable reasons for disability. I had fibroid tumors and that's why I had a hysterectomy.
