      Imodium AD, works well. Wal-mart and Target have generic versions that are more affordable, I think they work just as well.

        Diarrhea, in advanced stages, is known to cause many, many deaths. This is due to the body losing essential fluids, along with many of the necessary minerals/ions needed to maintain life processes. Oddly enough, buttermilk - which has fewer calories than the 'butter' name would imply (READ the % of butterfat on the content labels), works well. It calms an upset, or acidic, stomach, at the same time replaces necessary fluid.
