I think that right and wrong are built into us. Everyone knows what to do. Even though a person does not believe in God, is it assumed that he is bad? There are consequences if a person does wrong. There is cause and effect. For every action, there is a reaction, regardless of religion. I rest my case.

Maybe, i think without god there would still be good and bad people, there would still be prisons. there would always be a creator and a destroyer in the world and a place to put them in. the same way people are afraid to do bad because they will go to hell, would apply to the same reasoning without god, they'd be afraid to go to prison. it's not about god, good or bad, it's all about what makes you comfortable and peaceful in life, should you choose to do bad knowing theres no god would only destroy your life on earth and increase your discomfort. thus humans would want to create comfort, providing 'earth' punishments, right and wrong in the end is not about god, it's not about anything, but always about what makes you as a human, secure and comfortable and with that comes the creation of punishments, fear and adjustments (justice)

I do not prentend to know the answer to this question, but the whole answer revolves around the idea of free will. if you understand the notion of free will and every concept that makes God; then, the answer to the question is already answered. Mind you, you need to have a good understanding of philosphy. In other words, if whoever provides feedback to you is not well in the area of phylosophy; then, whatever comments he makes will lack logic. Scientif understanding and the undestanding of God are not contradictory but complementary. however, i expect that contributors for this question, can have at least a masters degree in philosophy and a master's degree in Divinity or a Phd. Otherwise, most contributions will be rubish and add more confusion to this field.

without a god is LAW. not God says you about good and evil thing, but peoples who surround you, parents, friends etc.
