Ninnet is right. How would the American people react if another country invaded it, and told them they had to live their, the invaders, way of life?
None of us will ever change the Afghan's way of thinking. They have lived that way for thousands of years. They are not going to change now. For them, their way of life is better than ours. One man's meat, is another man's poison.

Vietnam was a total failure, and the West lost bigtime. Why are we still playing the same games?

Ninnet is correct, there is NO OIL in Burma so what has the USA got to gain?

On another matter, when are we going to see questions from the USA? There are a lot from America, which as most people know includes the nations of South America plus Mexico and Canada.
