A kung-fu teacher of mine who was a fairly cheerful guy albeit slightly sadistic used to enjoy telling us especially when we complained link about prolonged stance link training that you could either sweat in the training hall or link bleed on the battlefield and I think the adage applies here. The testing is an essential and in fact indispensable step in the chain of quality control and without it you don't have independent verification of precision and performance claims.
