GOD came first and made the chicken.

Chickens are a subspecies of the Red Junglefowl that lays a hand full of small eggs. So, imo the egg came first then the chicken designed through selective breeding by man to lay a couple hundred large eggs a year. And to be 10-15 pounds instead of 2 pounds.

The chicken came first. A certain protein in the ovaries has been found to produce the egg. Happy Easter.

definitely the chicken. Extra Terrestrial/Dimensionals would never make an egg that created a chicken... a lot of extra work if you ask me. :]

Eggs came into being long before chickens showed up on the scene. Think about it this way, the dinosaurs laid eggs and they eventually morphed into chickens who also laid eggs. So what came first? The dinosaur EGGS.
