We polled yahoo answers users, this very question. Of the billions of users that attend that site, we received so few answers. We divided it by three categories:

To begin without makes me think of loosing it all, sometimes people have to loose everything to begin to look up. Like many people with substance abuse problems have to hit "rock bottom," to seek help.

I had to retreat to advance
I went on a retreat Got away from the world for a few days. Prayer and Meditation
Prayer is asking and meditation is listening for the answers
All your answers are within Ask your Higher Power "How may I serve?"
Every morning in Silence Stillness and Solitude I contemplate the day ahead
Then I write a list of jobs to do, prioratise this list and rewrite the list in order
These are the most important 10 minutes of my day
I get pictures from Google images of things I want and things I need I post them on my wall and they soon materialise in my life - if my Higher Power wants me to have them
