    As they move their wings they create lift and using their tail they change direction. You will notice when they land they "Reverse Thrust" by beating backwards with their wings. They also flair their tail to create drag and slow down.
    Without the birds to watch and learn man may never have taken to the sky.
    The question should be is how do bumble bees fly with that big body and small wings?
