        Man, this is a complex question!


        I believe our souls are conscious energy and that they are extensions or offspring (etc.) of the ubiquitous and universal consciousness some of us call God.


        This is about as briefly as I can put it.

          Our Soul is that "Aspect of God" that propels life within Humanity--God sends Himself out to experience, learn, and grow, and we as Humans get the pleasre of the experience..."Make a joyful noise unto the Lord".
