I think you mean tendon pain. The name for that is tendenitis. I've had that myself. It'll wear off eventually. But, there might be a swelling ; and in some cases, it'll have to be drained.
Put ice on it, then later---heat. Use an anti- inflammatory drug , like ibuprofen.......Advil.
