I'm assuming you mean the USB cable so that you can move pictures from the camera to the computer. One end of the cable is intended to be plugged into the camera. There is usally a small door on the camera that you open up and plug one end of the cable into an opening on the camera, the other end which is usually bigger goes into the tower of your computer (you may have multiple outlets to attach a printer etc.) sometimes on the back of the tower. Newer laptops will have a port on the side of the laptop. I also have two extra ports under the trays where discs go in.
