    Does clothing affect childrens' choice of friends?

    Yep, for sure. It's called peer pressure. My mom used to sew all my dresses when I was in high school and the kids whose parents that could afford store bought clothes were too cool to be seen with me. I was embarassed as hell about it. I did finally realize how silly it was to feel that way - when I was about 30 and had to sew all my own clothes.

    I use to make my own clothes on my grannys sewing machine so I count my selve very fortunate as ny couldnt sew she was very good at knitting but really didnt fancy a woolen dress that itched she even made woolen socks now they were really embarising but hey I still had to wear them melanie
    well I do think so as the kids are labels mad and if they wear the right up to date fashion they can be lft out I hope this not happen but in the cold day of light it dose all over the world its like phones(cells) they have to have the lastest its quite a sad wiorld we live in good luck and hope your child does not get affected by all this nonsence (if you have a Child) melanie
