    what causes gout in ones foot

    ive this tight feeling in my heel of my foot and its painful to walk is this gout??

    sounds like Gout. My dad had it in his heal. Gout is caused by too much uric acid in the blood, which can cause crytals. Sometimes the Dr. will give you some meds to reduce the uric acid, and sometimes, if you just treat it with anti-inflammatory drugs, it'll go away. Ten times as many men get it , as women.It's a type of arthritis. You might only get it a few times, then never get it again :-)
