      Yes, Tea tree is ok. Don't squeeze the tick out though, the bug "juice" has bacteria in it and may make your dog very ill.

        put rubbing alchohol on the tick. Then, it should die and fall out. I also heard that putting vaseline on it starves it to death.

            Tea tree oil ist very dangerous for any animal, not only for the Tick!! Your dog may lick the oil!! The little organism reacts quite differently to us as human!! Please ask your vet or search in the net for tick-aid professionals!!!!! Kiffa
