As for as flavour goes, one is as good as the other IMO.  As for convenience, oranges can be difficult to peel with too much pith sticking to the orange slice making it a pain to eat.   

                                               This would solve my dilemma.  LOL

Gee, I will choose oranges because I like to use them when I'm cooking, oranges make a pretty garnish, and chocolate with orange is very tasty too.

Apples are my preference.....easier to eat, no juice running down my arm, no peeling necessary. And don't brush your teeth right before eating an orange. Ick!

I would say Oranges for me,i find that i can eat two oranges in a row but not so with apples even thou both are good.It's the juice a plenty i thing.

If I can find a fresh apple i crave them...Fresh Oranges are easier to come by here.
