I have an external USB harddrive by Seagate. I recently had to rebuild my computer and have lost the drive letter to access this drive. How can I get it back?
When, I rebuilt my computer I was supposed to disengage the external drive but was unable to do so before relaunching my computer as it locked up and I did not get the information until after the rebuild process was under way. Now, the computer recognizes the drive but I cannot access it with out a drive letter to tell the computer where to go in order to explore this drive. How can I get this machine to see the seagate external USB drive once again?
