It has a cult following, the first time I watched it was when I was in high school. I really liked it was a little taken back by their consciences, but if I were to choose between the two, it would be C.O. by far. One of the Halloween episodes of the Simpson's, had Bart wearing a mask from the Movie.

I don't understand what one film has to do with the other. They're two entirely different movies which appeal to different audiences.

New to site so this is an old answer. But in my opinion Wizard of Oz hands down has more meaning. Just like the Beatles lyrics "all you need is love." I believe that is the meaning of Oz.. C.O.is a cinematographer wet dream.

No. it is only because it connects with a variety of audience; both young and old. So, more views. Even to this day.

A Clockwork orange, will mostly impact those of an older generation and its audience will be older individuals as you can't show that to the younger viewers.

i think wizard of oz is about child abuse. that is just what i heard.
clockwork orange is beyond my understanding and i would not want to understand it.

HOW CAN YOU COMPARE AN X RATED MOVIE TO A PG MOVIE. I ENJOYED WATCHING WIZARD OF OZ WITH THE KIDS, AND A CLOCKWORK ORANGE AT THE DRIVE IN WITH MY PARTNER MANY YEARS AGO!
