    I heard that too; that they take out your organs while you're still on the ventilator adn the EKG line shows that your heart if still beating. They do it to make them the freshest

      That is not true. When an injured person arrives in the E.R. they do all they can to save the person. You would have to be declaired brain dead to have your organs harvested. This is done by a team of doctors in conjunction with your family.

              You are thier patient... Your organs would more than likely not be given to another one of their patients, possibly not to someone in the same state... They have no responciblity to the other patient. Thier concern is to give you the best care possible.

                TOTAL BULL SHIT doctors are bound by the hippocratic oath the save lives. I am a donor even though my bits are getting past their use by date. It is a wonderful thing to do, just think you could live on helping several people see, pee, breathe and have a pulse. BECOME A DONOR. Regulars know I am a non religious person but our organ doning adds in Australia say. "Leave your organs here, heaven knows you don`t need them."

                    Good Point but I dont know if this is true I work with alot of doctors and they aim is to save a life, but do respect the patients will on most things

                        Absurd, in China perhaps. Unfortunately the only thing one might be able to harvest from this savagely abused body might be the fingernails, other than that it's just bad meat.
