      I have used https://www.fixyourownprinter.com I am having trouble loading the site right now but they IMO are the best for doing your own repair. I did a fix on my 'old' hp laser, installed a new scanner in it, they sent the scanner, a dvd with step by step instructions, and a tech hot line. it was cheap too! You will describe your problem online with multiple choice questions, at the end of this they will suggest the repair kit for you.. very easy.
