yes! most defiently, if not treated it will turn into cirrhosis of the liver. and that is liver cancer. there is no cure for it once the hep-c turns into cirrhosis. The treatments that you get to treat it is a chemo drug, it has many side effects, so you have to have routine blood tests done, but if you can go through the months of treatment, you'll live to be able to give this support to some one else. good luck, and god bless!
