    It is a standard English type of keyboard so called because the first line of letters (just under the numbers) begins with the letters QWERTY in that order. A more common continental keyboard is called a QWERTZ for the same basic reason and where the letter Z is where a Y would be on a QWERTY.

    Not so, Tookey, the Continental keyboard starts AZERTY
    This is a standard typewriter keyboard, the one most of us used when learning to type.
