A generic version of Xalatan (latanoprost ophthalmic solution) is available.


The generic form, available in one strength as latanoprost 0.005% ophthalmic solution, is made by a variety of companies. These eye drop bottles each contain 2.5 mL of solution, with 1.5 mcg of latanoprost in each drop.
