    Just in case you are serious. Small country towns are generaly much less expensive than the more populated areas for obvious reasons. The capital cities are all much of a muchness. Queensland in the area where I live you can get a 3/4 bedroom for around the $400k mark. But to me the prices being asked are rediculous but that`s what they call progress. Now is a reasonable time to buy as it is a buyers market.

    if you were lucky enough to find cheap real estate, the aborigines would declare it a sacred site and then ask big bickies for compensation,and there goes your cheap real estate!
