The out drive oil was changed last summer. Checking today the dip stick on top seems good...appears to be clean oil. When I remove the drain screw at the bottom it is milky. Is there any way water could get in by the way I stored it? I normly cover the prop area as well but did not do it this year...could that have anything to do with it? Should I drain the system put new oil in and see what happens? What do you suggest? Thanks!
I have a 1994 4 Winns I/O with Cobra out drive unit.

OMC Cobra Stern Drive Gear oil ... agree with the color/state of the oil, I had an Evinrude boat before with a leak on the seal and wasa nothing but milky oil.
