    is barrets esophogas curable?

    can barrets esophogas be cured after a 6 year time span between egd testing for it. I was told 6 years ago I had it, now today I was told by same office after a test last week that I do not have barrets.

      I have a friend who had an operation to cure this problem.
      The operation was successful, but he nearly died owing to a nosocomial infection.
