    dose the dwp automaticaly pay your pension when you retire at 65 or do you have to inform them

    If you mean the Department of Water and Power...I imagine that (as long as you have enough years in to collect) they will know when you retire. It sure wouldn't help for you to notify them too though as a precuation and to find out when and what amount you'll be getting. Cover all your bases.
