Hey Randy, good question, t.u. to you.

I don't think the majority of the people take her serious enough. She's a little kooky, and probably to conservative for most independent voters. Personally I am on the right side of the independent vote and I like her. I thought the media was kind of rough with her. But I'm not sure I would vote for her as president, I would have to hear more of where she stands on the issues, especially the economy.

Right now I am hoping The Donald will run, he has much more business experience and I think the government needs to run more like a business or go bankrupt. I did vote for Ross Perot in the past, business sense seems to be extinct in government in the last few terms.

Headless Man

I believe when she quit Alaska it was for Alaska because the left would not let her govern. So she let someone do it that could.

dwayne1716

ilean to the right also but she lost me when she quit on the people of alaska to go make speaches

leeroy

Yes, a little to flippy floppy, she's going to have to show some resolve and stability to be taken more seriously.

MAYBE SHE SHOULD JUST WRITE HER " BOOK" NOW AND SPARE AMERICA ALL THE PAIN AND AGONY OF HER LIBERAL AGENDA

Headless Man

You don't know what you're talking about. Read one of her books.

Headless Man

@daren1, I thought you would take time to read before you made such a comment.

Headless Man

Good, I guess......

Vinny

Liberal agenda?? Are we talking about the same Sarah Palin? She rides Harley Davidson, goes hunting, drives a pick-up truck and invigorates the Tea party movement-- I don't think she is a liberal.. If anything, she's a little too far to the right, even for a right leaning guy as myself!

Vinny

I'd be curious to know where you get your political information.. I haven't read her book but i have a hard time thinking she wrote a book in favor of communism. She's a little too far to the right for that. I could imagine that the left wing media would say this, they hate her with a passion and their followers hate her as well because of her right leaning agenda. Communism is more in line with left thinkers with their social agenda. 'one for all and all for one'.. Sound familiar?? That's Obama's agenda.

daren1

she wrote a book on communism " a veiw from my window'

daren1

i only got time to read this blog after all were do you think i get my political insight from certainly not anderson copper or jon stewart

melandrupert

very good daren really do agree in what you are saying also lets shoot another Bear ! TU for that LOL

I think she's a little off the wall at times and entertaining, I like 'some' of her issues but the media hates her and will attack her at every chance. Actually I think this is working in her favor as she gets so much publicity. (free) I don't think she will get close to the presidency because of her stands on many issues as too far to the right, I am a conservative but that is generic for anyone right of center. She's a bit too far to the right for me. However! She's fun to listen to and look at. (from a male's pov) Not to not start on a different issue and a flamewar, I do think she would be a better president than our existing one. But that's my opinion.

She is not afraid of speaking her opinion and voicing her agenda, she doesn't try to appease those that disagree with her, this is why I think the media hates her. I also think that the far left is terrified of her and this is why they won't quit attacking her--If your opponent is weak, why would you continue attacking them? I would think that they would ignore rather than confront if they had no fear..

As far as her dumping her job as Governor of Alaska? I don't have an issue with this either, its a job, elected or otherwise, its her choice as is anyone's to leave one job for another. To quit fo make speeches, TV reality shows, whatever, she was given the opportunity to move ahead and she took it, never belittle a person for bettering themselves, in their eye or yours, IMO. She thought it was the right move and i respect that!.. I won't vote for her though..

Headless Man

I respect your opinion, however why not to far right we went off the cliff going left.

Headless Man

Maybe time for a third party, teaparty?

Vinny

Actually, I would like to see balance return (if we ever had balance) I agree that currently we are hanging off the left cliff but we have been for years, I live in CA and all streets go left. I would like to see a nation that 'agrees to disagree' what we have now is constant bickering and hatred from the right and left, i don't think this was in mind when America's forefathers created the two party system. (continued)

Vinny

Now its resorted to name calling, Redneck hillbilly, bible thumpin' wife beaters (right) and tree hugging, mooching Pansies (left) What people seem to always forget is that we are all Americans, forbid the thought we would actually come together and fight for our freedom on our own soil.. It may come to that.

LEEROY, again you said it perfectly..

leeroy

Thank zorro, did you see the question I have about the rebellion, I'd like to get the word out for sept. 11th, if you can help I'd appreciate it. t.u. to you.

Not a good idea she's a little to radical for me

Headless Man

Radical in the "right" way could be good.

Randy, sorry already, 1967

Headless Man

TU for your reply.

I wouldn't vote for her to be the dog catcher.

Headless Man

I bet she could do a good job of that also......lol

Headless Man

Have you read any of her books?

Headless Man

You only base your opinion on left wing media reports, wont open your mind to the fact that there wrong.

Headless Man

I bet your family is perfect and could stand the public looking into everything you done in your whole life. She is a real American.

Roger Willcoe

lol...yeah...She'd be awesome at anything exept the job she's suppose to be doing, unless that job is to take over the tea party to make them seem like nuts. Self appointed masia...hey that would be a good name for her next book. I can't figure out why they didn't boo her off when she first showed her face instead of letting her take over. The tea party did not start as the second republitard party. "People" what are you gonna do when your brains were run off by the media and repudlickers?...lol

Roger Willcoe

Can she write? No, I havn't, Who wrote it for her? I get the jist of her. Professional liar like the rest.

Roger Willcoe

I've heard her speak many times and can smell bs. She quit as gov. gave birth to late in her life, gives advice to others that does not apply to her own daughter. She's yet another decendant of royalty. ...more rederic...this country can't afford the risk of yet another psychopath. Give someone else a chance. She could never win anyway. She needs to go home and take care of her family...looks like she has her hands full with that.

I would vote for her only if she was the only canditate for President on the Repuplican side. I think she is a down-to-earth woman with lots of common sense. We need someone more agressive than that to beat Obama.
Headless Man

Not sure, I think leeroy could beat Obama if his message could get out......
She is a beauty winner, a happy married woman, a mother of a special needs child, a gun rights supporter and user, a hunter, a snowmobile ridder, a cook, successful politician, not sure what else she can do but I believe she has enough common since that if she was president she would appoint people that could get the job done and give good advice.
The problem most women and some men are jealous of her and what she can do.
I guess Adreamer2 has left this site but i was reading all this uproar about sara palin. all i can say is
use Adreamer2'a words "i usually don't read what i'm not interested in. i hope that does not offend you, but my whole mind, body and spirit find no interest in this woman whatsoever."
the thought of sara palin leading this country is terrifying.

sarah palin is a nice, well groomed little lady but she needs to take care of her family ~ a special needs child needs lots of attention from both parents.

I don't know I think she's a little to kooky, for me to vote for as a president, but I would vote for her ticket if she were vice president, maybe get her a little more experience.

I know this is a repeat, but she has had a little more media exposure lately and I have become more familiar with her. Some or most of the middle east countries don't respect women, if she were president this would complicate our relationships with these backwards countries.

This is why it just doesn't make sense to have Hillary Clinton as defense minister, the Muslims just don't respect women at all. To them they are possessions or like cattle, it's a barbaric culture.

Well I would vote for her .....

Headless Man

If she was the choice against Obama, wouldn't flinch.

Are you sure you want to hand in our future to a not-so-bright, inexperienced, soccer mom?
We can do better than that.
She is better suited in commercial industry.

Headless Man

Not so sure she's a not-so-bright, inexperienced, soccer mom. Think she's more of a get-it -done right winger how would be honest in her actions.

Headless Man

People can say things that are not in context or misunderstood. Have you ever been misunderstood by your Spouse or a good friend? Then being under the pressure she was, she was not the politician with a rehearsed comment as some of the others. I like that, a real person. Not a smooth talking person like what we got.

schubee

well, if you are not sure, research her interviews, comments, and so on during the last presidential campaign. It's easy and obvious to know. "What's in your head comes out through your mouth".

schubee

Yes, a real person she is just naturally showing her intelligence and experience.
No way she could be my president!

schubee

I am due to change "soccer mom" to "hockey mom", right?..LOL ;-)

She is not a serious candidate for the presidency of the United States. She has a hard time stringing together, in a coherent fashion, thoughts, ideas and solutions to problems facing our country and the world. Like it or not, the United States STILL leads the world in many ways. Mrs. Palin is in no way is capable of leading this country. Listening to Mrs. Palin in many interviews about issues facing our country and the world gives me no confidence in her. She has a very difficult time in grasping very complex issues. By this I mean she can't get times, dates , events in the correct order or mixes up historical facts while trying to prove a point or form an opinion on something. Our country deserves a strong leader with a good grasp of all the problems that we face daily as a nation. We need someone who can find solutions and help our leaders solve these problems. Sarah Palin is just not built for this job as president of the United States.

Headless Man

Even Obama thought there were 57 States......

I know you guys dont take too kindly to comment from outside of the U.S. But I honestly think that electing her would make a laughing stock of a great nation.

Headless Man

Where are you from?

Headless Man

Well I don't think you guys are doing a great job there are you. I think their laughing at us now.

wrincles

leeroy

Not at all, I find it refreshing to see what our ally's think about the American political system, or the candidates. You all see much different news that what we get here. Thanks for your input...
I'm surprised I never got more feedback from my last comment, why wouldn't you vote for this woman and don't say she's stupid, stupid is as stupid does and she has done more than most.

Have any of you read her books, think you should before making your opinion about her.

Headless Man

Books, When you have time to think things through. Not everybody is a good politician and can think on the spot, I know I can't.

Headless Man

Both........

Headless Man

@schubee, You, bias......

Headless Man

good......

schubee

You need to think first, Randy. Which one is more reliable, edited and politically advised books of herself or unedited, unprocessed raw interviews and comments of her own words?

schubee

Are you innocent or dumb?

schubee

sorry..I had to ask. I won't reply to you on this again.

Adreamer2

Actually, no. I usually don't read what I'm not interested in. I hope that does not offend you, but my whole mind, body and spirit finds no interest in this woman whatsoever.

Headless Man

And I'll bet you thought Obama would be the answer to all our problems.
Enough about her. She will never be a president of the United States of America!
Headless Man

Because you say so?
schubee

Because it would be an insult to American people. ;-)
Homie123

SCHUBEE Great anwser!!!
she should go back to ALASKA.Don't you think?

I think that she's a marketing genius. She has turned her name into a house-hold word and made millions. However, that being said, I don't think that she is a very astute politician. If she were she would never have resigned halfway through her term as governor. People that are serious about politics will have qualms about this. Also, she is very radical in her views and the independents that swing elections, whether republican or democrat, will never put her in office. I'm no expert, but I think that she is the primary reason that so many independents moved to Obama from McCain.

Headless Man

Do we want an astute politician? Seems like they haven't done much for real Americans. I believe she is a real American like we were years ago and I like that.

bigben

Well Randy, as far as astute politicians not doing much for us, I can't argue with you there buddy.

Adreamer2

You want someone who'se made millions, why not vote for Trump? - lol
I think she inspires too much negativity. Further, she's a little too inexperienced to be taken seriously. Just very negative stuff coming out the that group. They can take this girl and rehearse the manual all they want; I wouldn't vote for her if they gave me the winning lottery numbers. Well, with that in mind, i might. But, they would have to win for me, first. Lol

Negativity, I find her inspiring.

GO AWAY PAIlN!!!

GO BACK TO ALASKA

Headless Man

Looks like she did, too bad.....

Yikes! Some news outlets are saying the (tea) party is over. I find her to be too extreme, and hope she stays in Alaska.

I would like to see someone run who would remove us from the New World Order. She wouldn't. I think Ron Paul would, but that probably makes him unelectable. Even if our next president wanted to remove the US from its New World Order obligations, I don't think he/she could ever make that happen.

Headless Man

I like her common sense, but I would need to see more.

Anyone who would vote for her is a conservative redneck republican, period.

Headless Man

Thats me, but maybe my neck wouldn't be so red if I kept my head on.......lol

i would vote for her. i would also vote to get everyone with three or more terms in out.

i would vote her in she is nice looking

Headless Man

Looks mean nothing when the country is at stake, I think she could get the country back to becoming self sufficient about our drilling for oil.

Adreamer2

Yeah but how would she stand up to the PM of China, or India, or Britain,or... well, you get the gist.

What did it for me, was when she was debating with Biden. That first glance. She couldn't even look him in the eye. You could tell she felt out of her league.

This is why she can never be my president.
--Arts funding is also under attack by several Republican politicians, including Sarah Palin, who recently called such expenditures "frivolous."--
