ask him questions about himself. Most boys and mostly anybody likes to talk about himself. If he plays baseball, ask him what part he played in the games they won......etc.
And touch him on his arm, or shoulder occasionally .Look deep into his eyes.

Don't be too pushy or his head will swell. Just take it easy. There must be others who will notice you and like you.
