What operating system are you using?
To manage your internet connection in Mac: open your System Preferences (in the Dock or Applications folder) > Click the Network icon under Internet &Wireless > in the network windows there's a list of all available internet connections (for example: Airport. Ethernet, Firewire). To add a new one click the little + sign at the bottom of the list. Follow the instructions.
